ConvIQ collects the following data in connection with providing its conversion analysis service for Shopify stores:
- Your Shopify store data: conversion metrics, aggregated order data, traffic data (page views, sessions, sources), cart and checkout data. This data is accessible via the Shopify API after explicit authorization.
- Account data: store administrator email address, store name, Shopify plan.
- Navigation data: application usage logs to improve the service (anonymized).
ConvIQ never collects the personal data of your end customers (names, emails, addresses, payment information).
2. Data usage
The data collected is used exclusively for:
- Analyzing your conversion funnel metrics
- Generating personalized recommendations for your store
- Sending you the weekly email digest (Pro and Growth plans)
- Improving friction detection algorithms
- Contacting you in case of important alerts
Your data is never sold, shared with third parties for commercial purposes, or used for advertising.
3. Storage and security
Data is stored on secure servers hosted in the European Union. We apply security measures in line with industry standards:
- Data encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
- Data access limited to ConvIQ team members who need it
- Regular security audits
- Encrypted automatic backups
Your store data is retained for the duration of your active subscription, then deleted within 30 days of cancellation.
4. Your rights
In accordance with GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access: obtain a copy of your data
- Right to rectification: correct inaccurate data
- Right to erasure: request deletion of your data
- Right to portability: receive your data in a readable format
- Right to object: object to certain processing
